Scottsdale,
Ariz. - The Arizona Medical Board accepted the recommended order from the Office of Administrative Hearings, revoking the license of Robert C. Teague, M.D. The Board took the action at its October 7th Meeting in Scottsdale. An Administrative Law Judge found that Dr. Teague had violated a Board order restricting his practice. The Phoenix family practitioner had held an Arizona license since 1963.
The Medical Board approved the proposed Consent Agreements for Surrender of License signed by two other physicians. Gary W. Hall, M.D., and Albert Szu Yun Yeh, M.D., agreed to surrender their licenses to end investigations involving alleged unprofessional conduct. Dr. Hall is a Board-certified ophthalmologist who at one time had a Phoenix practice. Dr. Yeh, a Board-certified anesthesiologist who is also licensed in Nevada, had been seeing patients in Kingman.
In other cases involving discipline, the Board ordered one Decree of Censure and four Letters of Reprimand. The Board issued 21 non-disciplinary Advisory Letters, upheld the dismissals of 12 cases by its Executive Director, and dismissed one case itself.
The next Medical Board meeting is scheduled for December 2, 2009, beginning at 8:00am.
